Transitioning Enterprise Reporting from Actuate BI to Power BI

Problem
The organization depended on Actuate BI for report generation — an aging, on-premise platform that limited accessibility, required manual upkeep, and carried ongoing licensing and infrastructure costs that outpaced the value it delivered.
Solution
I directed the flawless transition of Actuate-generated reports to cloud-based Microsoft Power BI, mapping existing report logic and data sources to Power BI's model, automating refresh pipelines, and rolling the change out to stakeholders with minimal disruption to their existing workflows.
Impact
The move generated noteworthy improvements in automation, accessibility, cost savings, and operational efficiency — stakeholders gained self-service access to live dashboards, and the team retired a costly legacy reporting platform.
